Passion fruit is a popular tropical fruit. Scientific name of Passion fruit is Passiflora edulis. It belongs to the family of Passifloraceae. Passion fruits may be consumed in several ways. A detailed account of various food uses of passion fruits is given below:

Passion Fruit Syrup: Fruit juice is boiled to a thick consistency to make syrup which is used for making candies, ice cream, desserts, cocktails, sauce etc.
Passion Fruit Jam and Jelly: Seeded fruit pulp is used to make jelly, jam, and various types of candies.
